Prior to pursuing her passion for gardening and design, Angela worked as an accountant in the corporate world. She later earned a Landscape Design Certificate from the New York Botanical Gardens. She cultivated her dream further by establishing Sun Scape Designs, a full-service landscape design firm based in Armonk NY, servicing Westchester County, and the surrounding areas. Her firm provides comprehensive landscape solutions for residential and commercial properties.
At Sun Scape Designs we are dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes. Angela works closely with clients to understand their desired landscape needs, and with her creative design expertise she helps them create a stunning personalized outdoor space. She creates the design plan and oversees the installation of every project from concept to completion.
Angela is a long time member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), and In 2022 she received a Silver Residential Design Award in recognition for her work at a home in Pelham, NY. She is actively involved in her community as a member of the Armonk Chamber of Commerce and has a 14-year tenure membership on The North Castle Beautification Committee. The committee is instrumental in enhancing three hamlets with seasonal plantings, holiday decorations, sculptures, and street signage.
Angela resides with her husband and 2 daughters in Armonk. It is there on her acre property that learned the importance of taking into consideration the deer population, the soil condition, the climate, and the sun location. She prioritizes taking advantage of the cost-effectiveness of planting perennials to add seasonal and sequential blooms, as well as choosing the appropriate trees, shrubs, or evergreens for specific locations that will provide year-round interest. Her hands-on experience has proven to be invaluable when working with clients. Angela's mission is to create lasting, and beautiful, low-maintenance outdoor living spaces that clients can enjoy for many years.
