Before pursuing her passion and love for gardening and landscape design, Angela earned a bachelors degree in Accounting at Pace University. She worked in the corporate world for 15 years as an Accountant and Computer System Liaison. She married and moved to Armonk, NY, 21 years ago, where she resides with her husband and 2 daughters.
In 2012 she began taking horticultural classes at the New York Botanical Gardens and later earned a Certificate in Landscape Design. She initially worked redesigning her family and friends properties, as well as, creating her own backyard oasis. She apprenticed under a local Landscape Designer working in Bedford, Chappaqua, Rye and Greenwich, Ct, before establishing her own landscape firm.
Angela is an active member of her community. She is a 10 year volunteer member on the Town of North Castle's Beautification Committee - instrumental in enhancing the three Hamlets with seasonal plantings, daffodils, holiday decorations, sculptures, and street signage. She was an eight year member of the Armonk Green Acre's Garden Club. She volunteers her time and landscape services to the local church and schools.
For years she experimented with gardening on her one acre property. She learned through trial and error how to plant the right plant in the right place. She quickly learned which plants deer love to eat and which plants they avoid. She takes advantage of the cost effectiveness of using perennials to add seasonal blooms and interest throughout the years. In choosing plant material she learned to take into consideration the site's soil, sun, and climate. The hands-on experience and knowledge she gained has proven to be invaluable when working with clients in the Westchester, NY and Southern Connecticut area.
We would love the opportunity to transform your outdoor space.
